Our Story
In the end, it all starts with people.
Over the years, working in recruitment and HR, I learned that a CV can tell you a lot about someone's experience. It doesn't always tell you who they really are.
You can find a candidate with every right skill on paper. But for a match to really work, you also need to know the person behind the experience: their character, and how they fit into the place where they work.
When that place is a private home, this matters even more.
Home is our most personal space. It's where we want to feel comfortable, be ourselves, and know that the people around us are people we can trust.
That's where MatchMe came from.
I wanted to build a placement service that understands this isn't only about finding someone who can do the job. It's about choosing a person who will become a real part of a family's everyday life.
So before I start looking for candidates, I make a point of getting to know the family. How they live, what they expect, the small things that matter to them, and sometimes the things nobody says out loud.
I give the same attention to the people I recruit. Beyond their experience and skills, I want to understand who I'm sitting across from, and whether they can truly settle into the home they're joining.
I believe a good placement is one where both sides feel they've ended up in the right place.
That's the approach I've always worked by, and it's how we work at MatchMe: with people, for people, knowing that no two families are alike.
